Roxanne was born and raised in Alaska but moved to Bellingham in 1994 with her two children. Roxanne is now retired after working for the American Red Cross for 23 years. She has volunteered at the SHH since 2007. She joined the Board of Directors in 2016 as the Treasurer and still holds that position. Her daughter, who is a nurse in the NICU at UW is very supportive of SHH. Her son moved back to Alaska in 2024 and works construction. Roxanne’s recreational and social interests include volunteering, movies, live theatre, music, travel, and walking. She currently volunteers at Bellingham Theatre Guild, American Red Cross, Pass The Hat, & Whatcom Humane Society.
